About

K-HA Music
Kris, better known as K-HA, is a new artist out of the Queen City, Charlotte North Carolina. He brings his own style and sound to the music world, which consist of catchy rhymes laid over instrumentals that just seem to grab your attention. As a kid, K-HA grew up around all different kinds of music and was exposed to all different genres. This fueled his love of rhythms, beats, and music itself. In 2003, K-HA started really getting into hip-hop music during his freshmen year of college where he started producing instrumentals and rapping over them solely as a hobby. As time progressed people started getting into his music. He would hand out CDs to friends, who would pass them on to their friends and so on. He became known for his hot songs such as Pop It and My Life which he produced in his dorm room using a cheap mic and Music Maker 2005. It was the word of mouth method that was used around college and back at home in Charlotte to get his name out. The next thing you know his music was being played at frat parties and in clubs around High Pointe and Charlotte, anywhere that would give him exposure. In present day and time K-HA has become serious about making it onto the music scene and has slowed down on the production end of things and is focusing his skills solely on song writing and rapping. All his songs are now recorded at Asylum Digital Recording Studios of Charlotte, NC and are mixed and mastered professionally by Studio B Mastering. In Early 2009 K-HA got the chance to be the featured guest on the Interactive House Party with DJ Eutche broadcasted live every Saturday on the nets hit music station VPZ  radio. That very next week his song "Put it on me" became the number one most requested song on the count down. In mid 2010 in his biggest career move yet K-HA hooked up with Jive recording artist Young Twinn and was featured on his track Boomerang Money. In present time K-HAs music is in rotation at most major clubs and bars in Charlotte NC. Currently he is working with 96.1 and 95.1 Charlottes hit radios stations, to break one of his singles and is focused on creating a buzz and getting all the exposure he can get.
